The Cowley Cowl was adapted from an idea of a friend of mine and has been named in her honour.

This pattern uses 5 JC Rennie Miniballs held double throughout, swapping colours in to create a blended, ombre effect. You can customise it as much as you want. With this yarn held double you will get roughly a DK tension, so you can also use a DK yarn for this pattern. There are two options for the grading, one gives a more elegant grading but will also require more yarn to get the full effect. You can also swap both colours at once to get a striped effect.

If you have any problems with this pattern then please get in touch.
