Knitted in spiral garter stitch, the Cozy Christmas Tree creates warmth and cheer in any space this holiday season. The tree is created by knitting a tapered ‘tree sock’. The tree sock is then stretched over a solid cone shape. The classic cone shape suits any decor style from Modern Farmhouse to Boho to Traditional.

Instructions are given for creating 3 different sized trees measuring 11 inches, 13 inches, and 15 inches in height when completed.

Yarn: Both Bulky and Super Bulky yarns are used, by alternating yarns with each row. You need about 31 yards of each to make the largest tree.

Construction: Magic Loop works best, but double pointed needles can be used if preferred.

Skill Level: Intermediate

Needles: 8 mm (U.S. 11) with a long cord to do magic loop in the round. 8 mm (U.S. 11) double pointed needles are helpful for the top of the tree.
