Share your Hogwarts House pride with this cozy hat knitted in super bulky yarn. This hat uses muted tones for a casual take on the house colours (more Newt Scamander than Harry Potter).

The striping sequence mimics the scarves worn in The Prisoner of Azkaban (known as the “Third Year Scarves”).

This pattern only uses part of each skein of Lion Brand Wool-Ease Thick and Quick. If making the same size as the original pattern, you can easily make two hats with one skein of each. This is a great pattern to use up partial skeins or scrap bits of super bulky yarn.
