The Cozy Little Boatneck Pullover is a great sweater for your little (and not so little) ones!

Pattern has been updated (12/11/19) and now includes 4 sizes:
Small/Baby (20”)
Medium/Toddler (24”)
Large/Child (28”)
Extra Large/Teen (32”)

Materials: approx. 300/440/660/880 yds worsted weight yarn
Recommended needles - size 6 (for garter stitch sections) and size 8 (for stockinette stitch sections).

Samples were knit as follows:
Small - Berroco Vintage, color 5108 (Stone)
Medium - Cascade 220 Superwash Wave, color 106 (Blue)
Large - Berroco Vintage, color 51176 (Fuchsia)

Sweater is knit flat in pieces, so you can use either straight or circular needles - your choice.

Gauge: 18 stitches = 4” in stockinette stitch, using the larger needles.
Change needles size as needed, for accurate gauge!

Sweater back and front are knit separately, and seamed at the shoulders, using mattress stitch.
Sleeve stitches are picked up along the the garter stitch armhole edge, and knit down to the cuff - which allows for easy adjustment of sleeve length.
You can make the body and/or sleeves longer if desired, to ensure that the sweater get lots of use. Keep in mind that if you are adding length to the body and/or sleeves, you may require extra yarn.

Required skills are casting on, knitting, purling, binding off, decreasing (k2tog and ssk), picking up and knitting stitches, and seaming.

I hope that you’ll enjoy knitting the Cozy Little Boatneck Pullover, and please post photos!
