Cute, cozy, and comfortable, there is everything to love about these adorable knitted shorts! All season round these shorts are guaranteed to make your bum happy and have you be irresistible to potential cuddlers (furry animals especially included ;).

These shorts are so much fun to make, and even if you are a beginner to machine knitting, I’ve got you girl! This 11 page pattern is full of photos and detailed instructions walking you through every step to ensure you will have everything you need to make these shorts no matter your skill level. I even have a video tutorial walking you through every step which you can find here! https://youtu.be/WwexHlBjn3o

This design is totally customizable with options to knit a regular or picot hem, make the inseam any length that is comfortable for you, to make the waistband as long as you like, and to add optional eyelets for a knitted drawstring or ribbon. The waistband is knitted at a smaller tension so that it will be snug on your waist so you won’t need to insert elastic or use an actual drawstring (the ones pictured are “faux”), with a super stretchy join and bind off to ensure they fit over your hips.

I had so much fun designing this pattern and I hope you enjoy it!
