Heaps of frogs are crawling in all directions, up and down, left to right!
This pattern will enjoy kids and adults as well.
You will receive both the mittens pattern - well described with pictures and charts - and two additional charts for frogs in all directions to use for your own design on socks, hats, or a pullover…

For the mittens, you should be able to knit two colored brioche, stranded and intarsia.
Phantastic for using up sock yarn left overs in greens with a dark background color or just choose any sock yarn colors, you would like to combine.

The mittens begin with a provisional cast on, knitting the hands, then the thumbs and after finishing, the cuffs in the other direction.

The cuffs are narrow at the wrist and widen towards the arm, which suits for playschool children, because the mittens cover pullover sleeves and stay under the jacket.

In the description, I will show you how to

  • cast on and set up your knitting on two circular needles
  • two items at a time,
  • knit a two coloured corrugated ribbing,
  • shape a thumb gusset,
  • work your thumbs by using replacement yarn.
