Maisie’s approximate height when finished is 21cm. This may vary depending on the yarn and hook you use. For the body, this pattern uses a 3.5mm hook and Moda Vera Malibu 8 ply 100% wool yarn - this is the larger Maisie in the picture. The smaller Maisie shown was made from another 8 ply yarn, also with a 3.5mm hook so please feel free to experiment :-)

The PDF pattern is 9 pages long and consists of full instructions with 20 instructional pictures. Instructions are in US terms. The pattern is suitable for beginner - intermediate crocheters - the hardest parts are the hands and feet as the use the technique of splitting the round. Knowledge of working in rounds is required.

Gauge is not overly important in this pattern, as long as stitches aren’t too loose so as to show the fiberfill. Try a hook size down if you find your stitches are too loose.
