Cream Pie Bonnet
A lovely pattern full of details!
Delicate shirring, lace edging, and plump i-cord ties — every feature adds just the right amount of charm.
You’ll find a nice variety of techniques throughout, making this project both fun and satisfying to knit.
For best shape and texture, I recommend using the original yarn, as the firm tension really brings out the shirring and structure.
Original yarn: Organic Tube Cotton Yarn – Beaux Sons

There’s just enough variety to keep you from getting bored — and once you get used to the repeats, it’s quite easy to finish!
Since it includes techniques often used in garments, it’s a great pattern for those looking to transition from accessories to clothing projects.

I’m an extremely loose knitter — please make sure to check your gauge and adjust needle size accordingly.
If you don’t usually knit loosely, go up at least 0.5–1 mm from the listed size to get a similar fabric to mine!
