Savasana Top
For this summer top, I wanted to create a simple design that could be finished with just a cast-on and a basic bind-off, rather than requiring a long list of finishing techniques.
Since linen stitch naturally lies flat without curling, there’s no need for edging or ironing—just knit it, finish it, and wear it comfortably.
The simpler the garment, the more important the details are.
✔️ Bust darts help reduce gaping at the bust and prevent the front from riding up,
✔️ Overlapping shoulder details create a clean and polished silhouette.
This is a top-down, written pattern that includes selected tutorial videos, photos, and schematics.
Techniques Used
- Crochet cast-on
- Linen stitch

If you’re not familiar with linen stitch, you may find this pattern somewhat challenging.
There are also several construction methods that may be different from other garment patterns, including the bust dart shaping, so the pattern may feel more advanced than the techniques themselves suggest.
If you run into any difficulties while knitting, please feel free to contact me! I’ll do my best to get back to you as quickly as possible.
