I fell in love with June Pryce Fiber Arts’ yarn, and Saunderstown Fingering has stolen my heart. A blend of super wash merino, cashmere and a little nylon, the feel is luxurious and the color changes are unique and gorgeous. A most inspiring yarn. The sample here is worked in the colorway Weeping Angels.

A bias scarf with an interesting shape, Cresheim begins at the bottom point and works towards a wide end. There’s a mini chevron to create the zig and zag seen in the stripes of texture.
Alternating bands of garter stitch and Stockinette stitch provide texture as the gradient yarn gradually changes from one end to the other.

The finished measurements are 62” long and 16” at the widest end, after blocking. You can certainly block the scarf more aggressively if you’d like it longer.

This is a one skein project that requires that you know how to knit and purl, knit in the front and back of the stitch, and work a double decrease.
