Crew neck sweater
This is a pattern for the Passap Duomatic 80 knitting machine. Other machines with robbers could use the pattern. From the book:
“This child’s pullover is the classic crew neck sweater with set-in sleeves. Of particular interest is the ribbed neckband that is hand sewn in place. Knit here in a solid colour, this pattern can be transformed into a new design by adding stripes, or a section of fair isle, or a fancy textured stitch, or by embellishing later with embroidery, candle wicking, or beads. It is a style that appeals to everyone of all ages.”
This pattern is the fourth in the series from this book, after the baby raglan.
Yarn is a medium weight e.g. sock yarn, 4-5 oz are called for - about 100-150g.
