Crispin is a super cozy, unisex hat with a folded brim that is very stretchy and fits nearly everyone.The slip stitch and purl zig zag pattern make this an interesting knit. Ideal for beginners. Chart and written out pattern available.

Needle Size: 4 mm/US 6 and 5 mm/US 8 circular needles for magic loop or DPNs. Or needle size to obtain gauge.

Yarn: Dovestone (DK weight; 50% Bluefaced Leicester, 25% Masham, 25% Wensleydale; 100g – 230 m/252 yds), Shade: Endeavour, 1 skein.

Gauge (after blocking): In rib using smaller needles: 27 sts and 32 rows = 10 cm/4”; over pattern using larger needles: 26 sts and 35 rows = 10 cm/4”.

Final measurements: Height (with folded brim): 22.8 cm/9”; circumference: 47 cm /18.5”.
