Have you just started to crochet and are you ready to make a blanket? Then this is the crochet pattern for you. With simple stitches you’ll be able to make a blanket that looks far more nifty than it really is.

You will learn how to:

  • Calculate the amount of yarn you need
  • Switch colour
  • Keep the sides of your blanket straight
  • Crochet a lovely edge around your blanket: you can chose from either a simple edging or a slightly more complex one.

For this blanket you need 4 balls of white. I made this blanket with 7 colours and bought 1 ball of each colours. You need at least 3 colours to make this blanket, then you’ll need 2 balls for each colour.

The pattern is for a baby blanket of 60 x 80 cm (24 x 32 inch), but there are also instructions for making larger blankets.
