ABOUT pattern:

• This amigurumi pattern includes one PDF file with detailed instructions and pictures about how to crochet and assemble all the parts of this toy.
• Crochet otter pattern contains 14 pages of instructional material accompanied by 51 photos and 3 video about more difficult moments.
• Сrochet level: Intermediate.
• Pattern available in ENGLISH only (US terms). American terminology used in the description! There are different terms for crocheting in British and American English.
• Crocheting skills will be needed to make this pattern: crocheting in a spiral and in turning rows, amigurumi ring, slip stitch, chain, single crochet, increasing, decreasing. The pattern doesn’t contain crochet lessons.

The toy is approximately 6,1 in / 0,2 yd / 15,5 cm (when using the recommended materials and instruments).

Materials and instruments
1. semi-cotton yarn (weight category 2: Fine, type Sport, 5 ply, 12 wpi):

• dark-beige color (head, ears, body and paws) – 0,9 oz / 24 g,
• red color (heart),
• white color (whites of the eyes),
• brown color (nose);

1. thin black yarn for embroidering the eye lashes (embroidery yarn DMC / YarnArt Iris / sewing thread / similar thread);
2. a pair of plastic eyes on a secure mount, d = 7 mm;
3. fiberfill (I used hollow fiber);
4. crochet hook. For indicated yarn I used a 2 mm crochet hook / size B to USA classification;
5. scissors;
6. tapestry needle (metallic or plastic needle with a blunt end);
7. embroidery needle (thin metallic needle with a sharp end);
8. pins.
