Crochet shrug
This is a crochet pattern only, not a finished product.
The Nikita shrug/sweater is cute, fitted, super soft and light. You can either make yours a shrug or a sweater.
This pattern is named after me to celebrate and honour myself and my accomplishments. And I want you to do the same when you wear your Nikita shrug/sweater. We all have something to be proud of.
Right after purchasing, you will receive two downloadable PDFs: the crochet pattern and a lookbook.
Info:
- This pattern is beginner-friendly as it is detailed, has photos of each step and links to video tutorials.
- This pattern is “made to measure” which means you’ll make it according to your own measurements.
- The shrug/sweater works up pretty quickly; I can finish one in 2-3 days.
- This pattern uses US terminology and the metric system.
- Includes a list of suggested yarn.
- No need for a gauge swatch as you’ll use your own gauge.
Materials:
- yarn: lace weight mohair/silk blend yarn (weight 0). This shrug is single-stranded. I used lace weight mohair/silk blend yarn (78 % mohair and 28 % silk, 25g/210m) from Uldstedet (Danish store) (I used 100 g for my light blue size S/M one-standed shrug).
- crochet hook: the largest size of the range listed on your yarn label or 0.5-1 mm larger for a little extra laciness (pick the size based on how lacy stitches you want: bigger hook means lacier stitches and smaller one means less lacy stitches). Mine listed 3-5.5 mm, and I used size 6 mm for my Nikita shrugs. If you want to make yours double-stranded, you can. Then, use a hook that’s 4-5 mm larger than what your yarn label recommends.
- Scissors

I hope you’ll love your Nikita shrug/sweater as much as I love mine and honour yourselves when you wear it <3
Love, Nikita
