This is a pattern for a crocheted flower brooch / or a hair clip made from any dk yarn although I used Drops Puna 100% Alpaca yarn.

You will need a 4mm hook and a hair clip or brooch pin so that you accessorise it and a small button for the centre.

I used 15g of Drops Puna although you may need more if using a bulkier yarn.

It is possible to make this brooch using other weights of yarn as long as you use a hook appropriate for the weight of the yarn you’re using. I cannot say how much yarn you will need if you use a different yarn, but this pattern is great for using up scraps!
