This is a reasonably easy knitting pattern to make a pair of slippers. I’ve used an alpaca wool mix but any aran weight yarn would do.
I use 5.5mm needles and the knitter should know how to make stitches, and decrease stitches. You will also need 2 buttons one inch in diameter. I use wooden buttons but you can use any.

These slippers are lovely because they will roll up in the handbag or suitcase when visiting friends or going on holiday. They also have straps with several holes in them so that you can adjust according to the width of your feet.

This was the first pattern I ever wrote and these slippers have been popular with everyone! So much so that I’ve decided to put the pattern on here. Happy knitting!
