Crocheted Cuffs

I’ve noticed the recent trend of crocheting amigurumi, in particular dolls or other toys. I have no use for children’s toys though, so I thought I’d make an “adult” toy instead.
Yarn and Hook:
• Any super-bulky weight yarn that feels good to use. For my first attempt at this pattern I used 30 grams of Patons Classic Wool, worsted (double stranded to make a super-bulky weight)
• 8 mm, A standard crochet hook with a straight shaft works, since the cuffs are less than 3 inches (7 cm) wide. However, I used an interchangeable Tunisian 8 mm hook.
Gauge:
6 stitches and 5.25 rows per 5 cm or 2.5 inches in Tunisian simple stitch
