Merry Christmas All! Welcome Christmas in with the Crocodile Stitch Christmas Tree.
A popular stitch put to use for Christmas. This pattern is not worked in rows as the normal crocodile stitch. This pattern is worked in a long change of crocodile leaves and these are mounted to a cone shape - Styrofoam or cone form.
The tree pictured is about 10 inches tall. I used about 4 ounces of Caron Simply Soft in the color Pagoda.
You can use any medium worsted or lighter yarn and crochet hook for size yarn/thread you are using. Not recommended for heavy yarns.
There are 4 different size leaves you can make for the tree, so you can personalize the way you want your tree to look.
