This easy 2x2 rib stitch hat is suitable for all levels of knitters. This is a simple pattern with very little shaping and easily adjustable for any head size. Perfect for someone who is new to knitting or for those experienced knitters who just want to work on a mindless knitting project.

PDF-written instructions include a link to the detailed video tutorial, and anybody will be able to knit this beanie easily.

This pattern is written in UK English; all measurements are in cm (2.5 cm = 1 inch)

Materials:

Yarn:
• DK weight yarn (approx. 100-150g depending on size)
• Yarn used in pattern: Drops - Flora in 2 threads (!) 210m/50g (230 yds/1.8 oz), col.08

Needles:
• Circular needles: 4 mm, 40 and 80cm length or
• Double-pointed needles (DPNs) of the same size (for crown shaping)

Other Tools:
• Stitch marker
• Tapestry needle for weaving in ends
• Scissors

Gauge:
• 22 stitches x 32 rows = 10cm (4 inches) in 2x2 rib stitch, unstretched. Adjust needles size if necessary.

Sizes:
• Small - had circumference: 50cm (19.5in)
• Medium - had circumference: 55cm 21.5in)
• Large - had circumference: 60cm (22.5in)
