10/30-When I first made this, I hadn’t been crocheting for very long and I must have still keeping my stitches pretty tight. I’ve noticed that the ones others have made from this pattern seem to be pretty wide. Maybe it was my stitches along with the yarn I used. You may want to reduce the initial chain length depending on your preference.

8/1-An error was found in the previous pattern and I have now fixed it. If you downloaded the pattern before 8/1, please use this updated one.

7/31/12- So this is what I get for submitting a pattern without having someone test it for me. A friend found an error. In row three, after the “ch3, dc in next 7sc” it says “sk 1 st”. DO NOT SKIP THE STITCH. This is left over from the first draft. I will submit a corrected version by the end of the day. Sorry for any confusion.

7/29/12-I made this up when I was looking for a roll for my growing collection of hooks. There are plenty of nice patterns here but I wasn’t finding anything I quite liked. I am putting this up by request of a friend. It’s a fairly simple pattern that’s easily customized.
