This delicate little shawlette is a great accessory when you want something around your neck without the bulk of a big shawl.

Made with cotton with just a touch of cashmere for a bit of luxury, with silk or a silk blend, or with a lovely wool or alpaca yarn, this can be lovely and light for summer or cuddly and warm for the cooler months.
This pattern is suitable for a wide variety of yarns and yarn weights, and the size is customizable.

By weighing your yarn you can knit until you run out of yarn. Increase until you have used half of your yarn, and then decrease again - the perfect pattern to make the most of a precious skein!

Note that solid or tonal colorways will show the pattern better than wildly variegated yarns.
