PATTERN INFORMATION
The Crystalline Sweater is worked in the round from the top down.
It features a stranded colorwork yoke with Nordic star motifs. Once the yoke is complete, stitches are separated to work the body and sleeves. The sleeves feature a colorwork motif near the cuffs, and all ribbing, including the collar, is worked in 2x2 rib.
The fabric is created with two strands held together throughout: one of Soft Alpaca and one of Friends Kid Silk. Techniques used include: Italian cast-on, rearranging stitches for 2x2 ribbing, knitting in the round, German short rows, increases, stranded colorwork, rearranging stitches for Italian bind-off.
