These bottle socks are wonderful. There is so much you can do with this pattern once you get the basics. They can be short or tall, narrow or wide. Lycra can be used or not. The sky is the limit! Plus you can mix and match all your left over sock yarn.

I have included the selvedge edge bind off for 1x1, 2x2 and 1x3. I hear it has been translated for flatbed knitting, too. Usually it’s the other way around. It can be challenging to wrap your head around this technique but is truly easy. If you see me at a crank-in, just ask and I’ll show you the nuances to make it go quick and easy. Depending on which cylinder I am using, it takes me 10-20 minutes to complete.
