This little alpine masterpiece is a simple tube, seamed at the top and bottom. The little lus (it means.. lice. It’s a traditional Norwegian motif) allow the yarn to be carried, and the entire thing knit in the round in one piece. The pillow features a contrasting front and back. After sewing and stuffing, an I-cord edged is added.

Materials: 4 balls of KnitPicks Palette, or other fingering weight yarn-2 balls of each color. A small quantity of yarn (about 75 yards)in color 3 if desired (each ball of the suggested yarn is about 230 yards). Pictured is KnitPicks Palette in Navy for color A, KnitPicks Palette in Mist for color B, and Alchemy Juniper in Sour Grass for the I-cord edging.

note: the lus mark every 6th stitch
