DESCRIPTION

The Cuddle Vest is designed to feel like a warm, gentle hug. It is a simple
boxy vest with a slightly cropped silhouette and a relaxed fit. It is a lightweight layering
piece but is also comfortable to wear on its own.

WORKFLOW

The vest is knitted bottom up. Divided into back and front and worked flat.
Armholes and neckline are shaped through decreases. Shoulders are joined and finished
with 1x1 ribbing around the neckline and armholes.

SKILL LEVEL

Beginner: Simple construction makes it a great project for beginner knitters who feel ready to knit their first garment. At the same time it’s a quick and relaxing project for more experienced knitters.

Yarn: Børstet Alpakka by Sandnes Garn (50g = 110m) - 96% brushed alpaca, 4% nylon.

7mm (US 10.75) / 80-100cm (32-40in) circular needles for the body
6mm (US 10) / 60cm (24in) and 80-100cm (32-40in) circular needles for the ribbing
one 7mm (US 10.75) needle for the three-needle bind off (optional)

Other Materials: Tapestry needle and a stitch marker.

GAUGE
13,5 sts x 18 rows = 10x10cm (4x4in) on 7mm (US 10.75) needles in stockinette
stitch flat after blocking.
