This is my go-to sock recipe. I wrote up this pattern to teach beginning sock knitting at my local yarn shop.

The shadow wrap heel is a really beginner friendly heel, especially if you feel intimidated by the heel flap or turning the heel. The heel can also be worked on a toe up sock.
