I love chevrons. The sharp peaks and valleys always make me think of electrical currents.

This scarf has unisex appeal and an easy to work (and memorize) 2-row pattern repeat.

I have worked this project in two contrasting semi-solid/solid worsted yarns; feel free to use plied, single spun, variegated, self-striping, or random stash odd and ends to knit your very own Currents Scarf. Bold and graphic or subdued and elegant: there is no wrong answer with this scarf!

Gauge is moderately unimportant. You’re fabric should drape easily. My newly finished dimensions are approximately 7” x 64”.

Materials:
Needles: US 8/5mm

Yarn: Two colors of worsted weight yarn totaling at least 210 yards each skein. At least 420 yards total. You will need additional yardage for scarves measuring beyond 64”.

Other notions: Yarn Needle for weaving in ends.
