Curry Cardigan
The Curry Cardigan is a lovely chunky cardigan with drop-down-shoulders. The cardigan is plush and chunky yet still light, it is worked top-down in 2 strands of Handdyed Fat Mohair. The entire cardigan is filled with random, colorful stripes.
The cardigan is worked from the top down, first the back and then the fronts. The back starts with short rows to shape the shoulders, then it is worked straight down to the bottom of the armhole. Then the collar is worked starting at the center back. In continuation of the collar stitches, stitches are picked up for front, and short rows are worked to shape the shoulders, after which increases for the neckline begin. When the bottom of the armhole is reached, back and fronts are joined and the lower part of the body is worked in one piece. The body is finished with a rib edge. Stitches are picked up in the armhole for sleeves. The sleeves are worked in the round and finished with an icord edge.
