For our new apartment, I want to make cushions, and I looked for inspiration every-where.
So I will transfer the patterns of arabic tiles on the wall of a restaurant into knitting. You can find similar patterns also on the embassy of Saudi Arabia in Berlin, different variants of star-patterns are popular in the region.
I tried to create two different star-motifs. How do you like them?

Für unsere neue Wohnung möchte ich Kissen arbeiten. Dafür suche ich überall nach Inspirationen.
Eine fand ich an der Wand eines Restaurants mit arabischen Kacheln, auch die Botschaft Saudi Arabiens in Berlin zeigt die in der Region sehr beliebten Stern-Motive.
Ich habe versucht, zwei unterschiedliche Sternmuster umzusetzen.
