A super pretty, vintage inspired crocheted pixie hat for toddlers that uses just one ball (50g) of DK weight yarn.

Make the original banana custard version (from 2015) which includes staggered decreases at the back to create a cute and whimsical pointed elf top.

Alternatively, new from 2026, make the pink custard version which is the same lovely stitch pattern but with no decreases at the back thus creating a smooth and flat back seam - a bit less quirky but gorgeous nonetheless.
