These lovely textured socks are the full sized version of the Linnet Shorty Socks which were originally called the Love Island Socks but the name had to be changed for copyright reasons.

The Linnet Socks uses the same four row stitch pattern but with a longer leg and contrasting heels and toes.

Sample uses approx 60g Birdstreet Yarn 4ply in the colourway Legwarmers (from 2019) with Xenon from CoopKnits Socks Yeah! for heels and toes - total weight 68g.

The pattern looks great with this speckled yarn but would work equally as well with variegated yarn or a single colour tonal. You could also try stripes as in the shorty version.

The pattern is cuff down and written for the magic loop sock knitting method on 2.25mm needles.
