This  pie version is a lattice top, with slip stitch cables and duplicate stitch worked on the top and mini-bobbles for the filling.

For those who require their knitting to be utilitarian it also makes a yummy pincushion, or what I use it for - a “cable-needle cushion."

Note: Pattern has been updated to be less “deep-dish” with smaller filling since some were coming out of the oven with a bit too much filling. :)
