This raglan sleeve pullover is knit in the round from the bottom up, beginning with a Picot cast on. The sleeves are also knit in the round from the cuff, which also uses a Picot cast on. The sleeves are joined to the body at the underarm where the raglan shaping begins. The sleeves and body are worked as one from the underarm to the crewneck edging done in Garter stitch. The all-over Dainty Dot stitch is a 4 stitch, 4 row pattern of knits and purls, making this pattern suitable for newer knitters as well as advanced knitters. Instructions for the Picot cast on are included in the pattern. This pattern requires sport weight yarn and US size 5 (3.75 mm) – 16” and 32” circulars and double point needles and a US size 3 (3.25 mm) – 16” circular for the neck edging.
