Do you wish for the fun of booping your purse randomly? Is your life strangely devoid of bears and daisies? Why not make a purse with both? Then you can have bears and daisies with you everywhere!

This is an easy pattern. You need to know how to do SCs and DCs and TRs for the daisies and work in the round, and that’s about as complicated as it gets.

As for yarn, you need about 500 yards in a light worsted weight for the main body of the purse and the strap and inner pocket. I used one called Fairyland, but I don’t know how lucky you’ll be at finding it. My father saw it at an auction and got it for me. (He was so proud of himself!) I think it’s from China.

After that, you’ll just need some scrap yarn in brown, white, yellow, and a little bit of black for nose embroidery.

Materials wise, you’ll need scissors, stitch markers, a yarn needle, a sewing needle and thread, and either 4 sew-on magnetic snap buttons for closures or some zippers. (I didn’t have zippers, so I used the magnetic snaps. I guess technically you could skip the closures entirely, but I’m a klutz and that would just lead to a massive “spill all the things from the purse” incident.)

As a practical suggestion, I would also avoid showing it to your sister. Purse theft will ensue.
