I always wanted to have a worsted weight lace shawl, thus I made one.
Because of the worsted weight yarn and the simple lace pattern, this shawl knits up very quickly.
My favourite part of it is the knitted-on-border with the tiny bobbles.
The pattern contains written and charted instructions, photo and video tutorials and has been professionally tech edited and test knitted.

Pattern info:

Finished size (blocked size):
Width: approx. 83“/210cm
Height: approx. 36“/91cm
Size is adjustable but changes will affect the finished size and required yardage.

16 sts and 22 rows = 10cm/4” in Wheatear lace pattern on US8/5mm needle, measured flat after blocking. Gauge is not crucial on this project, but note that size and yardage will be affected when worked in a different gauge.

Other notions:
4 stitch markers (or more for using to mark the pattern repeats, if desired),
tapestry needle for weaving in the ends,
tape measure,
row counter,
blocking pins,
blocking wires (not required, but would be useful), blocking mats.

6 skeins of MYak 100% baby yak medium yarn, Lazy Day colorway, 50g/approx. 125yards/approx. 117m/skein or 4 skeins of Malabrigo Rios yarn, worsted weight, 100% pure merino superwash, in Frank Ochre 035 colorway, 100g/approx. 210yards/approx. 192m/ skein.
