The Dancheong Kippah is a crocheted kippah or kippah srugah inspired by the traditional Korean style of decorative, multicoloured painting applied to wooden buildings.
Yarn suggestion is DMC coton perlé (pearl cotton) no 8 and the colours used are Old gold yellow (783), Japanese red (817), Cobalt blue (798), Blueberry blue (823), Dusty pink (760), Shaded green (319), Grass green (701) and Black (310).
It’s worked in tapestry crochet as a continuous spiral in the round with a size 1.25 mm crochet hook.
The pattern charts come in a left-handed version and a right-handed version for easier readability.
