PDF Crochet pattern for the stash busting, exaggerated, very beginner friendly ‘Daredevil Energy’ Sweater. Pattern includes sizes S/M-4XL/5XL. It features a voluminous sleeve, loose fit and high collar. This pattern uses slip stitch ribbing, and double crochet. This is a very beginner friendly pattern, and if you can make the stitches required, it’s perfect for your first crochet garment.

This pattern is made with a 4mm/F Hook, a 6 mm/J hook, and uses approximately 1250-1700 meters of any dk/cat 3 weight yarn. The sweater is designed to use up your dk yarn stash, however it can of course be made in a solid color with shorter yardage. It is a written pattern with step by step instructions, no images for each step. It is in English and uses standard US terminology, with specifics given in both metric units.

Chest measurements straight across: size S/M-58cm, L/XL-66cm, 2XL/3XL-74cm, 4XL/5XL-82cm.

When it comes to vibe, this sweater is the teen little sister to my ‘Matriarch’ design. It has the same silhouette, only MORE. Wider, longer, fuller sleeves, more brazen. The design is an ode to all the out there teens of my youth. The ones who would never back down from a dare, who wore thrift store finds before it was cool, who could ride a bike hands free. May their daredevil energy inspire you!
