This knitting pattern can help you create a detailed aran zippered-front cardigan, like the ones pictured here. The sweater may fit a variety of 14 inch dolls, but is specifically fitted to Helen Kish’s 14” Chrysalis Dolls. This sweater is knitted from the hood or collar downward. It does use some complicated notations to describe the types of increases, which you can ignore & increase in your own way. :) I used a tiny zipper to close, purchased from www.zipperthatdoll.com.

Supplies
* Lightweight fingering yarn--I used “Palette”
or “Stroll” , available from www.knitpicks.com.

  • Knitting Needles sized 000 and 0 (1.5 & 2 mm)
  • miniature zipper for closure

Gauge
* With size 000 needles in stockinette stitch, 23 stitches & 30-31 rows in a 2 x 2 inch (5.1 cm) square.
