Daughter of Liberty 1776 represents the patriotic women of the American Revolution. Her pannier supported skirts are the height of fashion while her red, white, and blue color scheme boldly proclaim her revolutionary sympathies. From the top of her mob cap to the tip of her buckled shoes, she’s ready for anything the British throw her way.

Daughter of Liberty is knit of size 6 needles with a simple crochet trim from a size E hook. She uses about a skein each of Lion Brand Heartland in Redwood and Olympic, Caron Simply Soft in White, and
Bernat Baby Superfine, also in White. The construction of each piece is largely seamless. Her stays lace in the back, and her gown hooks in the front so that your favorite young revolutionary can dress and undress the doll.

Daughter of Liberty 1776 was designed using an 18 inch Creatology “Modern Girls” doll available at Michael’s Craft Stores.
