The Davenport shawl feels super soft and so very comfy when knitted with the yarns as shown here.

Two colors and as many distinct stitch patterns create this luxurious shawl. One, a simple knit and purl traveling escalator pattern, the other a gorgeous but surprisingly easy to knit lace pattern. They meet in the middle with a simple marling technique.

The pattern is fully written and also has charts for both stitch patterns used.

The lightly blocked rectangular shawl measurements: 72.5” in total length and 13” in height.

Yarn
My sample is knitted with Auxanometer yarn by Theodora’s Pearls in a luxurious very special bamboo. 400 yards each in fingering weight. About 390 yards use per color.
