This is a digital download to create your own Deco Blanket using simple crochet techniques. The pattern would be suited to all abilities who are familiar with the stitches detailed below.

The download includes a list of materials needed and full instructions to create your blanket. This blanket used 300g of Scheepjes Whirlette (Frosted) and measured approx 88 x 88cm (2 x Whirlette’s = approx 70 x 70cm). You can use any yarn to make a beautiful blanket and can make it in any size you wish, just remember to use an appropriate hook size for your yarn. Gauge is not necessary for this pattern though is included.

This pattern is worked from the centre in rounds and uses the following UK crochet terms. (US equivalent in brackets below).

Ch - Chain
Tr - Treble Crochet (double crochet)
Htr - Half treble crochet (half double crochet)
Ss - Slip stitch

The pattern includes an explanation and photos of each round up until round 12. From round 13 the pattern repeat increases but is easily followed using the pattern notes and diagrams.
