Wear a flower crown, but make it spooky.

This is a slouchy fingering weight stranded colorwork hat, knit in 2 colors, available in 3 sizes, for the spooky at heart. (Or hart, whichever.)

This hat is knit from the bottom up, beginning with ribbing and transitioning into a stranded colorwork motif, ending in decreases, and topped off by an (optional) pom pom.

Note: Colorwork is charted only.

Skills Required:

Knitting/purling, stranded colorwork knitting, decreases. (Pattern includes a tutorial on managing floats in colorwork.)

Sizing: Child (adult S/M, adult L)
Fits head: 20”, 22”, 23.5” in circumference.

Materials:

2 different colors of fingering weight wool yarn.

Suggested Needles:

2.75 mm (US 2) needles for the ribbing and 3.23 mm (US 3) needles for the colorwork. Can be knit with either a 16” circular needle and DPNs, or a longer (40”+) circular needle using Magic Loop.
