A beautiful unisex baby blanket that looks impressive, but isn’t difficult to knit.

Finished size is approximately 21” x 30”.

Pattern recommends size 5 needles with a total of 4 skeins of Debbie Bliss Cotton Denim DK yarn, in 3 colors - 2 skeins of white and 1 skein each of light blue and dark blue.
Recommended gauge is 5 stitches and 7.5 rows per inch, in garter stitch.
Skills required are casting on, knitting, purling, increasing, decreasing, knitting cables, binding off, and seaming.
Blanket is constructed in 3 panels. Each panel alternates 4 squares of cables and garter stitch. Panels are then joined together along their side (vertical) edges, requiring only 2 simple seams.
Pattern includes a schematic diagram for color and panel placement.
Pattern can easily be adapted by knitting additional squares and/or additional panels, to increase the size as desired.
