Des Bisous is a simple hat made from bulky yarn; specifically it was designed in one skein of Emma’s Yarn Bodacious Bulky - available at FourPurls.com.

It knits up in a few hours - makes a great gift!

Des Bisous translates to “some kisses” in French. The slipped stitches remind me of kisses. XX

And although the pattern has those stitches being slipped purl-wise, you can slip them knit-wise to create X’s, which definitely look like little kisses. It’s up to you!

Fold the ribbed brim or don’t - it’s cute either way. And it looks great with a pom-pom on top. :slightly_smiling_face:

Needle specifics:
Ribbing uses a US 8; main pattern of hat uses a US 10; crown decrease uses US 10 DPNs.

Length/width measurements laying flat:
Large approx. 9”x8” - Medium approx. 8.5”x6.5” - Small approx. 8”x5.5”.

Happy knitting!
