“Do you LOVE succulents or cacti: This Desert Bloom Mini Cactus Oven Mitt Pattern is for You!

It may look like a saguaro cactus with blossoms planted in a basket, but it’s actually a mini oven mitt. If you’re someone who loves to cook and bake but hates those big, bulky oven mitts, then this mitt is perfect for you. Its compact size makes it ideal for grabbing hot plates, baking sheets, or small items from the microwave or oven without burning your hands.

While it may not be suitable for lifting heavy casseroles or roasters, it is perfect for everyday use in the kitchen. When not in use, simply set it on your countertop for easy access.

Get ready to add a touch of whimsy and functionality to your kitchen with this adorable crochet pattern!

Pattern includes detailed instructions and photos. Skill level: Advanced Beginner or Intermediate with knowledge of basic stitches and terms.

You may sell the finished item, but please credit Rebecca DeVere, as the original designer of the pattern.

Remember to check your gauge before starting your project! This pattern has been tested with both Lion Brand 24/7 and Sugar ‘n Cream yarn.

I personally prefer using Lion Brand for smaller, lighter mitts and there is less yarn splitting.

If you use Sugar ‘n Cream yarn, your mitt will be thicker and larger by about an inch overall. This size is better suited for a man’s hand without requiring any adjustments to the stitch counts or hook size.
