Desert Fog socks are inspired by the endless sand dunes and arid landscape of Namibian desert.

Desert fog is a toe-up sock with gusset and a short-row heel. The pattern is written for magic-loop method. The 3 different stitch patterns are charted.

The pattern is in English.

SIZE:
One size.
Finished measurements:
Foot circumference 71⁄2- 8 1/4” 19-21cm. Foot length can be adjusted.
The stitch pattern is quite stretchy, so it fits a range of sizes. If needed, adjust size by
going up a needle size or choose heavier yarn.

MATERIALS:
Yarn:
1 skein of Väinämöinen Knitlob’s Lair (75% Superwash merino, 25% nylon; 440yd 402m - 100g).
Approx. 270yd 250m of fingering weight yarn.
The sample was knit in colourway Hopea.

Needles:
US 1,5 30’’ 2,5mm 80cm circular needles.
The pattern is written for magic loop method, but can be adjusted for DPN’s.

Other:
Tapestry needle.

GAUGE:
