Size:

-Finished Circumference Unstretched = 18 inches (my head is 22.5 inches)
-Finished Height = 9 inches from brim fold to horn tip, 12 inches from brim edge unfolded to horn tip.

Materials:

I used two yarns held together for my sample. If you choose to do single strand please aim for a sport weight yarn and be sure to swatch! If choosing single strand you will need 300 yards.

+Strand A - 75g / 300yds(275m) Madelinetosh Tosh Merino Light
+Strand B - 25g / 284yds(260m) Berroco Aerial
+US size 4 circular needles with 16 inch cord
+US size 6 circular needles with 16 inch cord
+ Tapestry Needle

Gauge:

-24 stitches and 33 rows to 4 inches in stockinette in the round before blocking.
-32 stitches and 34 rows in 1x1 rib in the round before blocking.

Abbreviations:

-Rep- Repeat
-K- Knit
-P- Purl
-Sts- Stitches
-BOR- Beginning of round
-Sts- Stitches
-SSK- Slip 2 stitches knitwise, Knit them together through the back loop (1 stitch decrease)
-K2TOG- Knit 2 stitches together as one (1 stitch decrease)
-KFB- Knit through the front loop, then without taking the stitch off the left needle, knit again through the back loop.
-PM- Place a marker
-SM- Slip marker
