Feeling Fruity Kerchief
Size:
-Finished Length = 26 inches
-Finished Height = 3.5 inches
Blocking:
I like to steam block my kerchiefs from the back/wrong side to roll out the curls. The edges are meant to curl as you knit them and you can block gently if you would like the piece to be rounder when worn like some of the listing photos. For a flat lay I recommend an aggressive block as the red pictured or steam blocking as I do.
Materials:
+Color A- 25g / 100yds(92m) Emma’s Practically Perfect Sock
OPTIONAL for Leaf Loop:
+Color B- 10g / 40yds(37m) Emma’s Practically Perfect Sock
+US size 4 circular or straight needles
+ Tapestry Needle
Gauge:
-24 stitches to 4 inches in stockinette.
Notes:
-This pattern is worked flat on either a short fixed circular needle or straight needles. You can
choose to make the optional leaf loop to hold the ends of your kerchief or you can use a ring, elastic band,
or tie ends in a simple square knot.
-This pattern can be done in either a single length where there is a single wrap around your neck in
a horseshoe orientation or in a double length so you can wrap it all the way around before affixing. In order
to make the double length, you will double the total required yardage of Color A, follow Section 1 as written,
complete Section 2 twice, then finish off with Section 3.
