The Diamond Hearts blanket pattern would be suited to all abilities who are familiar with the stitches detailed below. The download includes a list of materials needed and full instructions to create your blanket. This blanket is worked from the centre. The solid coloured blanket used 270g of Hobbii Twister Solid, Dusty Rose and measured approx 83 x 83cm (200g, 2 balls = approx 66 x 66cm).

The alternative gradient blanket is made from Hobbii, Cotton Kings Sultan - Rose Quartz. (4ply yarn, 100% cotton). 200g of yarn and matching gauge will create a blanket measuring approximately 72cm x 72cm.

You can use any yarn to make a beautiful blanket and can make it in any size you wish, just remember to use an appropriate hook size for your yarn. Gauge is not necessary for this pattern though is included.

This pattern is worked from the centre in rounds and uses the following UK crochet terms. (US equivalent in brackets below).

Ch - Chain
Tr - Treble Crochet (double crochet)
Htr - Half treble crochet (half double crochet)
Ss - Slip stitch

The pattern includes an explanation and photos of each round up until round 15. From round 16 the pattern is easily followed using the pattern notes and diagram.
